Korea Peace Weekend (60th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice)

Sixty years have passed since the Korean War Armistice was signed, yet the promised peace treaty has failed to materialize, reflecting a perpetual state of semi-war in the Korean Peninsula. Signing of a peace treaty is the first and logical step to officially end the Korean War and move towards a peaceful settlement reflecting he changed dynamics of the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia region.

A series of events are planned in Washington, DC around July 27, the day the Korean War Armistice was signed sixty years ago, including advocacy visits and meetings, march and rallies, and film showing and discussions. Click and see below schedule for details.
